SentrIQ Scout

Terms of Use

Effective June 13, 2026.

These terms are a binding agreement between you and SentrIQ Labs, Inc. ("SentrIQ", "we") for the Scout app. By using Scout, you agree to them. Questions: support@sentriq.io.

What Scout is, and what it is not

Scout gives general security guidance based on the answers you provide. It is a self-help tool to help you understand and improve your security posture.

Who can use Scout

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Scout. If you use Scout for a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organization.

Subscription

Scout offers an auto-renewable subscription.

Advisor calls

An active subscription includes one 30-minute advisor call per calendar month.

Acceptable use

Use Scout only for your own lawful business purposes. Do not misuse the service, attempt to break or overload it, or rely on it as your sole security control.

Your content

You keep ownership of the answers and documents you create. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI or machine-learning models. The control library and the app itself remain our property.

App Store and Apple

This agreement is between you and SentrIQ only, not with Apple, and SentrIQ (not Apple) is solely responsible for Scout and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Scout. If Scout fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Scout. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to Scout, including product-liability, legal or regulatory, or intellectual-property claims. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government prohibited-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Disclaimer of warranties

Scout is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Scout's guidance is complete, accurate, or will prevent any security incident.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SentrIQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any security incident, breach, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising from your use of or reliance on Scout. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless SentrIQ and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of Scout, the content you provide, or your violation of these terms or of any law.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the app, and will revise the date above for material changes. We may suspend or end the service. You may stop using Scout at any time and delete your data in Settings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and SentrIQ regarding Scout and replace any prior understanding. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
